Pitanga oil is rich in vitamins A, B, C, calcium, iron, and phosphorus. These vitamins help maintain healthy, hydrated skin, hair, and nails, especially vitamin A which helps in the production of collagen, leaving the skin more toned, and has anti-inflammatory, regenerative and neutralizing action of the radicals. In addition, it contains ascorbic acid which prevents premature aging. Because it is rich in antioxidants, anthocyanins, carotenoids, and flavonoids, pitanga helps the body eliminate free radicals that can alter the DNA of cells and cause different types of cancer, as well as being the main responsible for the aging of the skin.

Pitanga oil is commonly used:

Skin - Controls oil and acne, has antioxidant action, prevents premature aging, revitalizes the skin stimulates the production of collagen, reducing the appearance of wrinkles, expression marks, and fine lines.

Hair - controls the natural oiliness of the scalp;
